About tMiami.com Custom Printed T-Shirts and Caps

Even more about tMiami.com! ...have you noticed our claim to have been custom printing t-shirts and caps for over 20 years? Wow! We must have been the first '.com' ever, right? Well, in fact, tMiami.com was originally a company called 'Theodore T. Shurtz, Inc'. Theodore T. Shurtz, sounds like Theodore 'T-Shirts' (get it?) was started in 1987. We, as we started building our company, enjoyed the name and we even enjoyed some of the confusion of peoples thinking that my name (I'm Dave, hello

) was Theodore but, for marketing purposes, a name that nobody could remember or spell was, of course, a nightmare.

Custom printed T-shirt re-orders were even, at times, flattering when we heard stories of being tracked down or having been re-contacted only after an afternoon of going through old invoices to find our phone number. No Google. No Desktop computers. It was amazing that anyone ever found anything but finding us was, at times, especially difficult.

And then came the name tMiami.com! As soon as it occured to us we knew that we had to switch. It's easy to remember. It was easy to create a logo for and it would serve as our contact information as well! It, combined with our moving to a new (larger) location, really was the start of something new. We were able to market ourselves more effectively and we were participating in what was, at the time, the brand new and all so exciting online world of the world wide web.

...and what about the people that had still been trying to track us down as Theodore T. Shurtz? Well they, the ones that eventually managed to find us, were, I'm sure, even much more proud of themselves than they would have otherwise been

We have put in crazy hours helping people get elected and helping companies, clubs and organizations promote brand awareness while improving customer loyalty. We have even been making special events even more special (and memorable) for over 20 years!
